I was a guest at this wedding, not a photographer, but I was asked to bring my camera along. Below you can see a few pictures starting with the rehearsal and ending with the bride and groom driving away at the end of the reception.
Over the last few months I have been reading several wedding photographer blogs. The styles and approaches vary. One of the photographers whose blog I have been reading will crank that ISO to the edge in order to shoot in natural light. She also writes that if she could, she would shoot an entire wedding with her 50mm lens. I was curious as to how that would work. All the photos below are taken with a 50mm lens. ISO is ranging from 125 to 5000. It actually works :-)

I have been waiting for this post! Wish i was there! I love the idea of only using the 50mm. That is all I used when I was in Malaysia, except for about 5 shots.
Congrats Ingi!
Great pics bro! I've been getting tired of lugging all the gear around and have been shooting with just 1 lens more. 5D handles noise well too. Bit harder on the Rebels and XXDs.
Keep shooting!
I am a friend of Ingi's from long ago and an aspiring photographer. I LOVE your pictures! They are beautiful! And thank you for the info on ISO and lens. Iam going to try it.
Yay! Congratulations to them. Wish I could have been there. Thanks for pictures to help a little more like I was. ;-)
